I can still remember, many years ago , sitting up well past midnight with my friend Marcia reading scary stories and eating popcorn in bed. We would huddle next to each other as if we were sharing the same skin, and not from the cold but from the newest book we had checked out from the library. It seems that when the weather began to change and the colors of the trees turned golden it was time to start reading the stories that made even the hair on a bald man stand up, those creepy, heart pounding and sometimes leg crossing ghost stories!

What a fabulous blog. I love Halloween and this is right up my alley.
Have a great day!

How can we establish a Halloween show here in Virginia. There are so many of us that love witches and the trappings of All Hallows Eve. The Expo center would be the logical venue (Chantilly). I would be happy to help organize it, but I need other "witches" to back me up! I have organized arts and craft shows in the past, but none as large as the Expo center. I know that Soft in the Head participates at Fairfax High school, but I have only been able to catch you once there. Write to me! ... Jeanie439@gmail.com
